I am writing to let you know that the Anthropology department was informed on Monday Jan 26 that all major and minor programs in anthropology will be deactivated, most likely at the end of the spring 2026 semester. Faculty retrenchments will follow this deactivation. We want to let the community know about this tragic loss to the heritage community.
