Full-time, tenure-line instructor beginning August 2023 based on the Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean, NY. Responsibility for teaching a full range of freshman/sophomore courses in the disciplines of Sociology and Anthropology. Ability to develop new curriculum and support special initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and NYS retirement. Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in sociology or anthropology; or Master’s degree in a related field with coursework or teaching experience in sociology or anthropology.

Preferred: Doctorate in sociology, anthropology, or related field; community college teaching experience; experience working with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in an academic and/or community setting.
