April 30th, 2022, NYAC Spring Meeting Notice

The New York Archaeological Council will hold its Spring Meeting on April 30, 2022 in person and via Zoom at the University of Buffalo. The board, which is not open to the public or general membership, will meet from 10:30 – 1. The General Membership/Business Meeting which is open to members and non-members will be from 1-2:30. A brief tour of the Archaeological Survey Lab and the Marian E. White Museum will follow and serves as the meeting program for those who attend in-person.

2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of NYAC. There will be discussion about the planning of the fall meeting. Please join us in person or via Zoom. You must register for the zoom.

Directions to UB Archaeological Survey from Campus SPAULDING Parking Lot:
Park in the Spaulding Lot
Walk towards Spaulding and Wilkeson Quads
Enter Tunnel Road between Spaulding and Wilkeson Quads
(the tunnel is what we call the road where the buses drive that goes under the buildings) Head down sidewalk on left side of tunnel towards Millard Fillmore Academic Center
Pass Wilkeson loading bay on your left
Pass blue signs for Millard Fillmore and Wilkeson on your left
Pass double glass doors on your left
Enter next single glass door on your left, labeled 261
Immediately go upstairs, one floor, via brown door in vestibule on right
Enter Archaeological Survey area through door labeled 261
Turn to left and enter Archaeological Survey
